Amplifying Your Voice: CSWF 2025
Empowering Women, Embracing FamiliesBy engaging in meaningful discussions and sharing insights, we can collectively create a more inclusive and supportive society where the well-being of women and families is a top priority.
MARCH 12 & 13, 2025
What is the Conference on the State of Women and Family (CSWF)?
The Conference on the State of Women and Family (CSWF) is a two-day event that runs parallel to the UN Commission on the Status of Women. The CSWF provides an opportunity for leaders of UN members states, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and individuals from around the world to network, learn from one another, and engage in advocacy on behalf of women and their families.
With expert pro-family and pro-life presentations running throughout the two-day event, CSWF is the place to come and find a unique approach to meeting the needs of women and the families they love. The empowerment of women, the eradication of poverty and, in fact, all of the SDGs can best be achieved by recognizing and strengthening the family.
(While the Conference on the State of Women and Family runs parallel to UN CSW, it is a separate process with separate organizers.)
The dates for the March 2025 CSWF are Wednesday, March 12 and Thursday, March 13.
What is the UN Commission on the Status of Women (CSW)?
The Commission on the Status of Women (CSW), founded in 1946, takes place each March at the UN Headquarters complex in New York City. It is “the biggest global policy-making body dedicated to promoting gender equality and the empowerment of women.” The Commission leads discussions, generates public attention, and drives action on behalf of women.
Each year, a “priority theme” is generated with activities centered around this theme, along with the production of an “outcome document,” negotiated by UN member states, intended to direct actions by governments and other stake holders. For more information on CSW, go to the official UN website.
